Citizens Advice Halton is an independent and impartial charity.
We are here to help people to overcome their everyday problems.
We don't charge people for using our service, instead we rely on charitable income like grants and voluntary donations.
You can make a difference by donating today to Halton Citizens Advice Bureau.
Each year we help around 8,000 people with life changing advice, support and advocacy, by giving across a wide range of problems e.g.
- Helping disabled people to get the right benefits and other support,
- Helping victims of domestic abuse to live independently and safely
- Helping prevent homelessness by supporting people facing eviction and dealing with other housing issues e.g. disrepair, rogue landlords, etc.
- Helping people struggling with the cost of living by giving access to money/debt advice, budgeting advice, giving access to food/fuel vouchers, etc.
- The management of debt, getting the correct disability and work related benefits,
- Giving employment rights advice and helping resolve problems at work
- Helping people feel more connected by giving access to skills training, personal confidence building, job search support (e.g. CVs, interview skills, help to complete application forms) etc.
