Hi, my name is Lametria, and I’m the proud owner of a small cupcake bakery here in Chicago called Greater Baking at 2300 E. 71st Street!
Our bakery has always been about more than just sweets—it’s about community, joy, and bringing people together through delicious cupcakes and cookies.
Recently, our brand-new Blodgett oven suddenly stopped heating, leaving us unable to bake the treats our customers know and love. Unfortunately, the cost to replace it is more than we can afford at this time, and without it, our little bakery can’t run the way it should.
We’re asking for help to raise $13,000 so we can purchase a new oven and get back to doing what we love—baking fresh, delicious goodies for our neighborhood. Any amount, big or small, would mean the world to us and help us keep our doors open and our ovens warm.
Thank you so much for supporting small businesses like ours and for helping us continue spreading sweetness in Chicago.
