Help Cherrie Lyn Arcio to Continue Feeding Stray Dogs in the Philippines — Urgent Need for Motor Cargo
Story:
Every day, countless stray dogs in the Philippines go hungry, injured, and unnoticed. But one person has been giving them hope and feeding them daily.
For years, Cherrie Lyn Arcio has been a lifeline for hundreds of stray dogs and cats in the Philippines. Every day, she travels from area to area bringing food, water, and kindness to animals who have no one else looking out for them. But now, her ability to continue this mission is at risk.
The Challenge
Beginning January 1, 2026, the local e-bike ban will take effect, preventing Cherrie from using the vehicle she relies on to reach the strays she feeds. Without transportation, she will be forced to walk long distances and will no longer be able to cover all her routes.
What We’re Raising Funds For
We are raising funds to help Cherrie purchase a motor cargo vehicle—a reliable, efficient mode of transportation that will allow her to continue her feeding rounds safely and consistently.
A motor cargo will enable her to:
• Travel longer distances to reach more strays
• Carry large amounts of dog food, water, and supplies
• Sustain her daily feeding program despite the ban
Why Your Help Matters
Cherrie’s work is 100% self-funded and donation-driven. Every meal she provides is a direct result of the kindness of people who believe in her cause. Your support—no matter the amount—helps keep hundreds of dogs fed, cared for, and loved.

• A motor cargo unit
Estimated cost: ₱200,000 – ₱250,000 (USD $3,400 – $4,400)
• This is the first stage of fundraising to ensure that Ms. Cherrie, who lives outside the U.S., can receive your generous donations. Ms. Cherrie is currently residing in the Philippines.
• Your donations will be securely sent to her and we will share updates.
Next phase of fundraising
• Once the donation from the initial fundraising is successfully received by Ms. Cherrie, the next phase of the campaign will be initiated.
Thank you for helping Cherrie continue her life-saving work.
