Support a Central Falls Family Torn Apart by ICE Detention

The Alliance to Mobilize Our Resistance (AMOR) is fundraising for a Central Falls family whose father was detained by ICE while dropping off his children at school. We are raising $8,000, to cover the cost of legal representation and fees to bring him home to his family.

Today we come to you with a heart full of hope and an urgent plea. A father in the hardworking community of Central Falls, was detained by ICE officers as he was taking his children to school. The children witnessed this traumatic scene as their father was pulled over in his vehicle by ICE officers who aggressively forced him and the girls out of the vehicle. He is the sole breadwinner of his family, and his absence has put the welfare of his household at serious risk.

As a result of his arrest, his wife is left to support their three young children. They have been left without a primary source of income, making it even more difficult to afford daily expenses, rent, food and basic necessities. The family is in a critical situation, and this father's detention not only affects his household emotionally, but also financially.

In order to be reunited with his family and continue to support them, we are raising money to pay for his legal fees and in the hopes of getting bail ($8,000.00). Without legal support, he will remain in detention and his family will be left without a means of support, which will further aggravate the difficult situation they are experiencing.

Un padre en la comunidad de Central Falls trabajador, ha sido detenido por oficiales de ICE cuando llevaba a sus hijos a la escuela, experimentando los niños esta traumática situación fueron interceptados en su vehículo y los oficiales obligaron a él y las niñas salir del vehículo de una forma agresiva. Es el único sostén económico de su familia, y su ausencia ha puesto en grave riesgo el bienestar de su hogar.

Con su arresto, su esposa y sus tres hijos pequeños se han quedado sin la fuente principal de ingresos, lo que hace aún más difícil afrontar los gastos cotidianos, el alquiler, la comida y las necesidades básicas.
