I have tachycardia and have now developed arrythmias, including atrial fibrillation, which is rapidly getting worse. The cardiologist is doing monitoring and stress tests to see what next steps are, including possible surgery, new medications, etc. But it's to the point now where they don't want me pushing my heart and to stay away from cardio and keep my heart rate as low as possible. I was told to do resistance training, but high cardio can be dangerous right now. When I have episodes (which happens when I'm having to pedal hard or my body is under stress- like even a cold, toothache, etc ), I am getting chest pains, shortness of breath, loss of cognition, vision, all the fun shit. It fucking sucks and I wish I could buy an ebike. I have been losing more and more biking over the last year, including the joy that I used to get. It's just hard to get up places and makes me feel so bad being so much slower on the get-up, even though I'm pushing as hard as I can.
