Would YOU like to be a TROUPEr Hero? COVID-19 has hit all of us in very profound ways including our theatre family. Hence, we are raising funds to benefit Brazos Valley T R O U P E. Any contribution will help make an impact. Proceeds from our productions & projects are our lifeblood and, sadly for us and our audiences, it has come to a horrible halt. We thank you in advance for your consideration and any contribution to this cause that means so much to so many.
Brazos Valley TROUPE (Texas Repertory of Unique Performing Arts & Entertainment) began its journey to entertain and provide quality arts-in-education for young people 26 years ago. It has seen an amazing amount of growth in several areas including membership, artistic development, YOUTH enrollment, audience patronage and community service. This growth has been witnessed on local state, and national levels and our official recognition by the American Theatre Wing, years ago, was a crowning jewel. There is a great frequency of productions and a great deal of variety as well. YOUTH productions for the entire family, improv shows, musicals, plays, revues, and concerts involving youth & adults as well, are all under the TROUPE umbrella of entertainment. We are proud to specialize in service, in family and in quality entertainment.
In order to continue to achieve all that our community has become accustomed to, we truly rely on funds from memberships, tuition, donations and proceeds from our productions. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 virus pandemic upon us all, we have lost much of our funding streams. Please consider making a contribution to our GoFundMe effort. It will allow us to continue to operate during this stressful time and to continue our journey into the next 26 years. Any contribution is more than appreciated. We do have special levels listed here. Once we are allowed to resume operations, all or our TROUPEr Heroes will be officially recognized at our theatre with a special plaque that will be on display for as long as we continue to do what we do. Additionally, a display will also be featured on our lobby video board, our TROUPErbills and our website as well. We shall never forget those show did not forget us in our time of need.

On behalf of Brazos Valley TROUPE , Thank you to all our Super TROUPEr Super Heroes!
What does Brazos Valley TROUPE mean to me? At first, it was just an outlet/activity for my child, but quickly evolved into much more than that. Through TROUPE, my child found his lifelong passion, which he is now pursuing professionally. For me and my family, it's brought us many great friendships. And now, even though my son has outgrown the organization's youth program, it continues to be a major part of my life. I currently serve as president of the board of directors; I coach the Oxymorons, our resident improv team; and I still get a few opportunities to be on stage as an actor.

“What TROUPErs have worked 26 years to create, let no PANDEMIC put asunder”. Yes, I took some liberties with that quote but, we at Brazos Valley TROUPE have taken a daily vow to do our best to bring forth good quality family entertainment, good art-in-education programs and good service in our community, state & beyond. A vow is a very strong word and we take it very seriously at BVT. In an effort to continue our pledge during this time of uncertainty, we have launched special visibility projects on social media, unprecedented online sessions & classes for our kids and even a first-ever ‘virtual musical’ that will begin rehearsals soon in homes all over the Brazos Valley. All this will keep our theatre’s embers aglow and our spirits up but we need YOUR help! We are announcing this special GoFundMe effort in order to save our theatre. We just refuse to believe that God has allowed us to do what we do for 26 years only for it to end like this. On behalf of all of our board members, patrons, supporters and the hundreds of young people who have been part of our theatre over the years, I firmly and fervently believe that we are meant to live on for years & years to come! In order for us to do so, we TRULY need your loving financial support during this time. Please consider giving from your heart to the theatre that has more heart than any that I have ever known. At the time that we are launching this effort, my 56th birthday is upon us. I lovingly urge you to make this the best possible birthday ever by giving to the place that I have spent almost half of my life trying to nurture. God bless you. Stay strong, safe and sane!
