Many Redwood City locals know Angela whether it’s from her volunteer work for the downtown business group or her welcoming smile and “HELLOOO!” When you walk into her store Busy baby bottoms/Stuff on the square. She is a true patron of Redwood City! Need help picking out that perfect gift? She’s got your back. Want to start your little one on cloth diapers and have no idea where to start? She will walk you through it and pick up your call at any hour to help. What I’m trying to say is if you know her, you know that she is a giver. From starting a donation pile of sheets and blankets outside her store for the homeless in the winter, to making mass donations to toys for tots every Christmas season. With that said, Given her generous nature she is much too humble to ask for the help needed to save her business. As we all know, COVID 19 has taken a huge toll on small family owned businesses over the last almost two years. Being under the impression that our fine city was going to forgive the rent on our beloved store, Angela decided to put a hold on her business and used what funds she had to keep her family and home afloat. Imagine her devastation after about a year of being closed due to the pandemic, finding out that this was not the case. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to give up on such a beautiful thing! Any little amount will help even if we can just help pay off past dues! I know money is tight, so words of encouragement or memories you’ve shared are welcomed!
