As residents of San Diego for the past 7 years, we deeply appreciate the incredible community support during our time here and recognize the immense growth we have had both personally and professionally. While we smile in reflection of our time here, our family is among those currently jeopardized by the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the stay-at-home orders were put into effect, B&P Dance continued to work and provide service to the community. B&P Dance began hosting free weekly online social meetings, inviting all dance community members to stay connected during these unprecedented times. When it became evident the effects of the pandemic were not subsiding, B&P Dance took action developing online courses with exclusive content to facilitate skill progression for students of all levels. In recent months, B&P Dance has offered private lessons with versatile options, including in-person or online, while maintaining compliance with local health ordinances.
Despite these efforts, our family continues to face significant financial hardship as we approach the deadline to renew our visas while pandemic restrictions are still in effect. In addition to local, state, and federal restrictions, visa technicalities preclude our ability to receive government financial aid.
This campaign is to support our professional influence in the San Diego Zouk and West Coast Swing communities. As a result of the dance industry being severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, this goal is to help cover living expenses and legal costs for visa renewal.
We appreciate any support you can offer to help us maintain our presence in the San Diego Brazilian Zouk and West Coast Swing communities during this trying time.
