Help Me Keep Bruce Safe Until We’re Reunited

Earlier this year, I went through a very difficult relationship that ultimately led to me losing my apartment. In the chaos of trying to find a safe place to stay and rebuild my life, I had to make one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever faced: turning my dog, Bruce, over to a local non-profit so he wouldn’t end up homeless with me.

For the last three months, they’ve cared for him out of pure kindness, asking for nothing in return. Bruce is my best friend, and knowing he’s been safe has kept me going while I work full-time and fight to get back on my feet.

Starting this month, the organization is asking for $250 a month to continue caring for him until I can secure a place that I can afford—and one that allows pets. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to move within the next few months, but right now, I’m struggling to keep up with this new cost on top of everything else.

I’m asking for help because I don’t want to lose Bruce. He’s been the one constant in my life, and I’m doing everything I can to bring him home again. Any support—big or small—helps me stay connected to him until we can finally be together under the same roof again.
