Keep Bruce Adventurous: Donate for His Recovery
Donation protected
Hey everyone,
We’re reaching out with an open heart to seek your support for our beloved Bruce, a 3.5-year-old blue heeler mix who thrives on the thrill of adventure. Earlier this year, Bruce was diagnosed with a torn CCL (the equivalent of an ACL in humans). The surgery cost $5,000, plus an additional $3,000 for diagnostics and therapy. Despite all efforts, including physical therapy, Bruce has now torn his right ACL, a high risk that my doctor warned me about.
The upcoming surgery is vital for Bruce to stay mobile and enjoy the life he loves. We aim to raise $8,000 to cover his treatments and medications. Any contribution, no matter the size, will tremendously impact Bruce's road to recovery.
I would gladly use pet insurance for this cost but Bruce was diagnosed with epilepsy at 8 months old; it took countless ER visits and specialist consultations to control his seizures. Because of this pet insurance has refused to cover his existing conditions.
Time is critical, and we are turning to our compassionate community for assistance. Sharing this with fellow animal enthusiasts can bring us closer to our goal.
Your generosity will help Bruce return to the hiking trails and the life he cherishes. Let’s ensure he has many adventures ahead!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Bruce and Jordi
