KEEP BRIEUX CARRE OPEN AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!

Honestly, it hurts to even be writing this...but it is what it is...

We opened Brieux Carre in April of 2017 with the goal of creating world class beer, a community hub, and goofy beer names that keep all of us happy. As of current, we feel that we have accomplished our goals. However, reality has finally caught up with us, and we are dealing with issues beyond our control that have affected our ability to stay open for much longer.

We are still dealing with issues stemming from the COVID shutdowns. To keep doors open during that time, we were forced to take out short-term loans. The plan was always to refinance later when business became stable again, however, none of our financing avenues ever came through for us. Se we remain in a loop of never-ending cyclical cash-flow-intensive debt. Additionally, we have seen production and raw material costs increase by ridiculous amounts since 2023. In order to maintain the quality of beer that we have grown to brew, we pay a premium for ingredients. And our small size doesn't help get bulk discounts on anything. 2023 also came with some serious staff health issues that set us back a bit. But luckily, we're all as healthy as can be today!

So, not to be all "Doom & Gloom", but we are officially running on fumes, and we'll go through whatever venue possible to help keep the dream alive for as long as possible. We feel that we have created such an incredible local spot that produces some killer beer, and we hope we can see it open for as long as possible. If you've ever come through, we hope you shared the good times with us and want to see us continue doing what we do. We love all of the friends and family we've made over the years, and we couldn't do what we do without your support.
