Help Keep Brain-Boosting Games Free, Kind and Safe

Hi, I'm Dr Oli Delgaram-Nejad, a linguist and the founder of NeuroKind Games. I make games with the help of Claude, an AI from Anthropic.

What NeuroKind is about:

NeuroKind makes games that are good for your brain. Some build strategy and problem-solving, some train memory and focus, and some help you think about stories and choices. I also love trying new kinds of game mechanics that haven't been done before.

Every NeuroKind game is completely free. There are no ads, no microtransactions and no data collection. I believe AI should be used ethically, responsibly and transparently, and I'm always open about how my games are made.

Games for children:

A distinct arm of NeuroKind is made just for children. I believe gaming can be a real tool for learning. Too many children's games are built to sell: pay-to-win upgrades, paid skins, ads and tracking. Children whose families can't afford those extras get left out. Every child deserves fun, free experiences, whatever their family's budget.

- Charleston, an AI penguin who lives in a little Arctic world. He paints, writes music and keeps a blog, so children see creativity in action every day. He's taken a real interest in Svalbard and its wildlife, and he loves his telescope, so children can explore the Moon, planets and stars with him.
- BrainyPet, an ad-free app for children aged 3 to 6 with over a hundred short lessons.
- Mind Palace, which turns brain training into a tower defence game.
- IRIS and Biscuits, a cosy lo-fi sci-fi space adventure with an immersive, experimental voice-recognition system: you talk to the ship.
- Roblox games, made for fun, learning and developing motor skills, rooted in positive psychology.

Games for grown-ups:

- Field of Steel, a blend of real-time strategy and battle simulator that demands quick thinking and careful strategic pacing.
- Trophy Wife, a psychological horror game about understanding stories and morals. It builds unease through atmosphere and choices, with no gore or jump scares.

The costs:

I cover all the costs myself: £90 a month for my Claude subscription and about $40 a month to keep Charleston thinking. I'm happy to do it, because I believe these games do real good. But if you'd like to support NeuroKind, any donation helps keep it going and growing.
