Keep Belladonnas Mission Alive in NYC
Donation protected
Belladonna & Friends has been rescuing distressed animals from the sidewalks of New York City for over a decade. The city of New York continues to be in an epidemic of animal abandonment and those born to a short, painful life. We are so proud that we have saved well over 2400 cats, kittens, dogs, and a variety of wildlife.
We focus mainly on two colonies in the South Bronx: Juan and Rolands. We are still struggling to manage both colonies, even after years of trying. The city does not support us financially. It does not help us with transportation. There are low-cost, spay, neuter appointments, but good luck securing any.
Our rescue is currently managing 41 cats and kittens, and one dog. We have absolutely no support unless it comes from you and anyone you share this with.
We are currently dealing with a very expensive ringworm outbreak, which not only will cost us four figures but it has also halted rescue attempts.
Please help us keep our rescue afloat while we seek adoptive homes for our rescues!
