Keep BeFitNYC Open

We are an upper west side gym that has been opened since 2015. Before covid19 hit us all, we were offering the community 40 workout classes per week, plus the gym area and access to independent trainers to have a space to work in.  It took us hard effort, savings and dedication to open this gym to have a place for people to be fit, healthy, and have a safe space to be distracted and feel welcomed. 

Since quarantine began, we have been offering members and anyone that wants to join classes online (via Zoom).

Unfortunately, the classes online are not enough to pay the rent and we are at risk of losing the gym space. Also, many members have cancelled either because of financial circumstances during this pandemic, or because they do not take classes or have left the city. Our membership numbers keep dropping, and it has forced us to cancel some of the online classes because we cannot afford them. 


We're creating this GoFundMe per request of members and people from the community who would love to support us. So if ANYONE can donate whatever they can, we would gladly appreciate it. Anything that you are able to offer, will be a step closer to reaching our goal of being able to pay all the expenses and keep our BeFit community alive!
