Keep Beckham’s parents at his bedside
Donation protected

Many of you have gotten to know Beckham, the incredible son of Alanna and Tanner Blythe. They live in Lincolnton and have been very active in the community coaching sports and teaching.
Unfortunately, the majority of Beckham life has been spent in hospitals. His parents have always been by his side and even when his doctors said they were out of options; they asked questions and sought answers when no one else had them.
Alanna and Tanner have stayed by his side in the hospital. Even if though that has meant long nights sleeping in his ICU room, only to wake up and work all day at his bedside.
although they would never ask, they could use our help. There are medical bills and all the expenses of his home care; but they also deserve to take a day to rest and not be worried about all the challenges of life. If you have the ability to give, it’s so very appreciated. They also ask for prayers anytime you think of them.
Alanna’s Update 5/18/2024
I saw a miracle today.
Beckham went into cardiac arrest; his heart stopped. They performed CPR for what felt like an eternity, but it was about 20 minutes. They got a pulse back. Given the extended period without oxygen, the doctors told us that he would probably have no brain activity. We gathered our family, thinking these would be his last moments on Earth.
They administered medication to reverse the paralytic, allowing us to hold him for what we believed would be his final breath. The doctor and I saw it with our own eyes—his pupils no longer reacted to light. My boy was gone. But then, after the medication was given, he opened his eyes. He was looking around and moving. He wasn’t brain dead. He was alive.
The child they said couldn’t survive the chest compressions and defibrillations was up and looking around. My God brought my boy back from death. He is a God of miracles, and He will never leave you. My God is able.
