One of our ‘Seren Dwt’* families has suddenly been faced with a situation none of us with children ever imagine facing…

Baby Lilah is awaiting urgent heart surgery, but as she’s not gaining enough weight, she’s going to have to be admitted to hospital, 3 hours away from home, until she’s big and strong enough for the surgery. She will need to stay in hospital for the recovery after surgery, until she’s well enough to go home. This could be for over 1 month…

Lilah also has 3 big sisters, age 9, 5 and 1.

With the hospital over 3 hours away from their home, and no family or friends local to the hospital that the family can stay with, we want to support this wonderful family by providing the funds to rent accommodation near to the hospital, while they go through this incredibly stressful time.

Lilah’s older siblings are home educated & one is autistic, so it’s vitally important we keep this lovely family together so they can keep as much ‘normality’ for their other children as possible, whilst also being close to Lilah as she fights to get big and strong for surgery.
