Hello everyone,

I am setting up this GoFundMe specifically for future vet visits & meds for our sweet girl Aurora. We have tapped out our funds to get her to this point. She has had 2 visits to our regular vet, that was $2700. She was then referred to Blue Pearl in Lakewood. She was there 3 separate occasions. 1 office visit and meds was $310 & Thursday they did her CT scan and muscle biopsies & IV anesthesia; that was $4800. Erica and I have covered all costs "so far." We are tapped out financially from this endeavor. What we need help with is caring for Aurora going forward.....

I never ask for help and I feel sick even as I type this asking for help but......I just want the best life for our sweet girl, so for that reason, I am swallowing my pride.

I know many of us are struggling to make ends meet, so please do NOT feel obligated in any way. We appreciate all the love and support we (& Aurora) have received.

*UPDATE AS OF JULY 3RD*

It has now been confirmed from UC Davis California that she does in fact have MMM. With the prednisone, she can open her mouth a little more but still doesnt have full mobility. She returns to the vet next week to remove the stitches & staples & we will chat to see where we go from here now that we have the firm diagnosis. We are still waiting for the muscle samples to come back.
