I'm a 24 year old disabled trans person from Florida with no immediate family and no money. I'm raising money to help me avoid homelessness after July 1st and to be able to afford to stay in Ireland rather than returning to the US where it is not safe for me.

In case you didn’t know, the US Government officially declared “radical pro-transgender ideology” as terrorism and made the promise “We Will Find You and We Will Kill You.” The document, called “the United States Counterterrorism Strategy 2026”, stated unequivocally that transgender people are and will be regarded as enemies of the United States of America.

I have updated the gender marker on my legal documents / identification so I am already on a list of trans people tracked by the US government. Traveling through TSA is too dangerous. I do not "pass" as male but I have already medically transitioned so I am visibly trans no matter which gender mode I pick.

I have 3 cats, a lot of medical bills, and I haven't been able to find a job in Ireland that will give me a work permit. I am already thousands of dollars in debt because the cost of living in Ireland is so high. The housing crisis here is very severe and it takes months to find accommodation, let alone something accessible + affordable + allows pets. Your donation would go towards my immediate health insurance policy bill (€1,961.20) that is required before I can apply for my student visa, rent (€1,750 for July), food, cat care, my monthly medications, and creating a safety net for me while I navigate this very precarious situation in the coming months.

I am extremely aware of the fact that there are millions of people in more need than me, and I hope you will also donate to as many other people as you can. It feels wrong for me to ask for money when there are thousands of trans people still stuck IN the United States, whereas I am lucky enough to at least already be here in Ireland. Families in Pal******, Su***, Co*** are on my heart, and so too are the Americans being abducted and disappeared by [frozen water]. It's very difficult for me to ask for help (it makes me feel physically sick) but I know I deserve to exist too. Trans people deserve to exist. That is why I am making this fundraiser.

If there is ever a situation where I have an excess of funds from this fundraiser that I don't need, I will refund you or redistribute the money to my friends in Pal******. When I was still living in the US and selling art + jewelry at vending markets, I always donated 100% of the profit to Pal******.

My current Irish landlords are unlawfully threatening to evict me and even though they are definitely breaking the law, it could take months to get an adjudication hearing with the RTB. In the meantime I have to find somewhere else to stay in the event that they forcibly evict me and my cats on July 1st.
