Hello everyone,

I am Glo, the owner of Ambition in a Cup right here in Manteca. You might know us as the cute pink pop-up serving up delicious iced coffees, specialty drinks, and good vibes. This business is my passion, and I love nothing more than bringing a little sweetness to our community.

Unfortunately, we recently hit a major roadblock. We were informed that we cannot set up or operate until we obtain a specific health permit. We have every intention of doing things the right way and getting this permit, but the high cost of securing a commercial kitchen—which the health department requires—is what is holding us back right now. ( We already have our business license, insurance, food handlers permit. )

Because we've had to suddenly pause our pop-up, our main source of income has ground to a halt while the bills keep coming. I am turning to the amazing community I serve for a little bit of back-up.

On top of our daily expenses and permit fees, this sudden pause hit us at the worst possible time for my daughter. She has a major out-of-state athletic showcase coming up in Las Vegas—a huge opportunity where college scouts and coaches will be watching. As a mom, it breaks my heart that our business being sidelined might force her to miss this critical, once-in-a-lifetime chance to be seen by recruiters.While we are doing everything in our power to make sure she doesn't miss this opportunity, our absolute top priority has to remain keeping a roof over our heads and getting our health permit finalized.

I am doing absolutely everything I can behind the scenes to get this situated. My goal is to get what we need so we can come back in full strength and continue putting smiles on your faces.
