Aly has faced an extraordinarily difficult couple of years with losing her son Samson, her service dog passing, worsening seizures, and so much more. Now, she needs our help.
In June 2024, Aly lost her job due to problems with her epilepsy and brain injury. Since then, she has been working tirelessly to stay afloat: applying to literally hundreds of jobs, coordinating her ongoing medical care, and maintaining her household on an increasingly limited income.
Despite her consistent efforts, Aly has yet to find a position that accommodates her medical needs. She remains committed to returning to work, but the job market poses real and disproportionate barriers for people with disabilities.
As she approaches the end of her mortgage forbearance in August, Aly is at risk of losing her home. Her air conditioner has broken, dangerously increasing her risk of seizures due to overheating. Basic expenses like utilities, medical costs, and pet care have become unmanageable.
Your support will allow Aly to bridge the gap between now and getting a job. All donations will go directly to Aly and cover essential needs, ensuring she and her animals can remain safe, healthy, and housed until she's employed again. Any and all support is deeply appreciated. If you can't contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Thank you!
