Hello! Alicia Smith, a senior amputee who is confined to a wheelchair, has faced unimaginable challenges in her life. She lost both of her sons within a week and her home not long after. She almost had to give up her beloved dog, King, who also serves as her registered emotional support dog. But with help from a local dog rescue and from the kindness of people, she was able to not only keep King with her, they also recently moved into an assisted living apartment complex which allows her more space, mobility, and ease in handling basic daily tasks. And King now has a much larger, cleaner, and safer place to exercise and play.
But now an old electric bill has Alicia in dire need of help. GA Power is threatening immediate shutoff of service to her apartment unless she remits a total of $850 ($150 of that being a new deposit on her new residence). If her electrical service is shut off, she and King will be forced to vacate the apartment and go right back to being homeless.
Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can to help Alicia.
Thank you in advance.
