Greencard Emergency: Help Us Keep Alf Home
Help Us Keep Alf Home!
Alf, or Alive Alf Photography has been living in the U.S. for 5 years- two of which on a student visa to study abroad, the remainder via the O-1 Visa for artists, where he works hard doing freelance photography for events and individuals. His works are breath-taking, and his story is an inspiring example of the American dream.
During the process of applying for his Green Card to finalize permanent citizenship, the current pandemic outbreak occurred, not only leaving him out of work, but also delaying his green card application past the date of his current Artist Visa's expiration date.
The only option for Alf now is to renew his current Artist visa, which will cost an additional $5,000 on top of the $10,000 the Green Card application was charging him.
This sudden cost ontop of being out of work has left Alf in a very scary situation, wherein if fees aren't paid prior to his Visa expiration date, he could easily lose his citizenship. Among the already frightening pandemic, this is a terrifying possibility, especially when the last half decade of his life has been spent rooted here in the United States, the home he loves and is eager to spend the rest of his life in.
We've collectively put together this donation pool in hopes that it can ease the financial and emotional burden on Alf; in hopes of keeping him home, so we might all see more of his dreams, and more of his art, come to fruition.
