Meet Albie! She is a recent rescue and my companion. Albie is 8 years old but has the energy of a 3-year-old. She keeps me active and "younger." Her favorite toy is her blue ball, and she never misses a chance to dive into the river on our daily walks.

Unfortunately, Albie is in need of surgery for a torn ligament and is currently overcompensating, causing her more leg issues. She is my best friend and needs support that I cannot afford on my limited income. A recent vet appointment showed tears that need repairs sooner rather than later before she becomes immobile. I just rescued her, and I don't want to put her back up for adoption just because of the cost of the surgery. She doesn't deserve to be kenneled. Albie loves the outdoors too much.
