Our Task:
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many challenges for the academe, such as those in relation to transitioning from a classroom setting to an online school environment. In the developing economy, like the Philippines, this problem is magnified.
The University of the Philippines (UP) Rural High School (UPRHS ), a premier high school in the Philippines that is under UP, the state university, needs your generous support. In terms of infrastructure or tools for the conduct of online classes, the many members of the student body do not have access to resources for online education. A significant number of them do not have computers and internet connections to attend classes remotely. The COVID-19 pandemic has made this school year and the next to come especially challenging to both the educators and the students.
Our Solution:
Through your donations, the UPRHS Alumni Association led by Class’96 will purchase laptops and internet subscriptions for students in need.
Our Request:
Please help us raise funds to supplement the school’s IT facilities and equipment for online education. Your donations will help strengthen and maintain the ongoing efforts of UPRHS to provide education to our Philippine scholars.

12 USD could support a student's internet subscription for one month
120 USD could support a student's internet subscription for one school year
300 USD could purchase a computer/laptop
420 USD could purchase a student a computer/laptop + internet subscription for one school year
