Hey Omaha
I’ve got some really tough news about Africa on a Plate. To be honest, we’ve been silently struggling financially and I don’t know how much longer we can keep going . We poured our savings into this dream, but unexpected hurdles just kept coming. costly repairs, delayed openings, and now the street car construction’s making it harder. Starting on March 16, Streetcar construction is going to do a full northbound road closure on Farnam between 14 and 16 street which is where we are located. On the corner of 16 and Farnam.
Closing for plumbing repairs threw us off, and inflation’s squeezed our budget tight . Inflation is one of the reasons why we have not been able to operate at full capacity and or hire more staff. We’re barely scraping by. So I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. would you consider helping us out? There are 500 of us on this page and If each of us could donate $50, it’d give us a fighting chance to make it until we can find a smaller space to move to and away from the street car construction.
