We did it!!!

Effective January 21, 2026, Affordable Care Clinic has been officially declared by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization!

Now that we have been granted tax-exempt status retroactive to our date of incorporation, this means that donations made since January 21, 2026 are now tax-deductible!

This is a huge step forward for the clinic and the patients we serve. For more than 14 years, our mission has been to provide compassionate, relationship-based, affordable healthcare to people in our community—especially those who are uninsured, underinsured, or struggling to access care. By transitioning to a nonprofit structure, we will be able to pursue grants and public support that will help stabilize and expand this work for years to come.

However, grants and other sources of funding take some time to acquire. We are working hard to send in our applications! At the same time, we are continuing to raise bridge funding to help sustain the clinic while we complete this transition. Every contribution helps us keep the doors open, maintain affordable services, and continue caring for patients who depend on us. And your donations are now tax-deductible!
