Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but life has taken some unexpected turns over the last year. Between loss of family, and financial burdens, we’re facing a situation we can’t navigate alone. It was brought to my attention by a family member to organize a donation fund, so that’s what I’m here to do.
Due to job changes and a ton of other unexpected financial costs in the last few months, we’ve fallen behind on rent and are now at risk of losing our home. We have only six more days before the eviction process begins. We’ve explored every option available to us, but time is running out, and we’re reaching out in the hope that our community can help us stay afloat. Rental assistance in Spokane is essential, but unavailable at this time. I’ve been trying for months on end so I can catch up, and it’s resulted in failure. I’ve thrown each of my paychecks at rent as much as physically possible and still cannot get back on track alone. If all else fails, I’m selling personal belongings to keep us afloat.
This all being said — We’re asking for your support to raise a total of $2,300 to cover past-due rent and avoid eviction. Every dollar brings us closer to stability and gives us the chance to breathe, regroup, and rebuild. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us.
This isn’t just about keeping a roof over our heads — it’s about preserving the safety, dignity, and hope that a home provides. It’s about keeping everything I’ve worked so hard to build for my kids. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us during this incredibly difficult time.
