Hi, my name is Iris and I'm a 21-year-old Black trans woman currently living in Los Angeles, California! I moved here to escape the increasing anti-trans sentiment that was developing in Texas, and with the help of a previous fundraiser, I was able to relocate! However, with the job market being the way it is, I haven't been able to find employment my first month living here, and bills are adding up.

Becoming homeless in Los Angeles is basically a death sentence for women like me, so while I work to find stable employment, I would appreciate any support I can get to stay off the streets. This would only be for the month, as I should be able to cover costs myself soon. I already have half of this month’s rent, I just need to pay the rest.
