Hi everyone,
As you all may know, my Father (Bob Lynch or "Cowboy Bob"), has been a generous, hardworking and caring man his entire life. I wanted to start this because I have never seen rock bottom-but still fighting- quite as much as I am right now.
My Dad had a stroke at 38 and has been on partial disability ever since. He is not allowed to get a job due to his multiple health issues. Because of this, my Dad has worked hard to establish a video game store in Northeast Philadelphia called Gamefixx. The store has been open for ten years through both hardships and successes.
This past September, his store flooded due to an upstairs water pipe breakage causing heavy damage and for the store to flood. He has not been able to open it ever since due to issues with multiple outside parties that are responsible for repairing the damages. My Dad's only source of income has not been profitable since SEPTEMBER of 2019.
Currently, he is not able to open the store back up. He has lost thousands of dollars, his customer reputation, his credit, and much more. Even with all of these factors he has still been able to support the homeless cat population of Philadelphia thanks to animal lover's donations. This just shows the kind of heart that my Dad has not only shown me, but many of you.
Like he told me tonight on the phone, "I pray that nothing will happen ever to you and all of the bad will happen to me..." He is right. Nothing bad has happened to me. However, I really would like the bad to stop happening to my Dad.
This fundraiser will not support the cats. However, it will support the pure grit and strength that can motivate my Dad to keep going through this battle and be able to get a fresh start. I know there are a lot of questions that I have left unanswered and many "well can't he do this..?". No, he cannot. We have exhausted all of the options. Also, some facts may seem vague due to legal reasons. Please keep all unkind comments to yourself. Thank you all for you kindness and time.
