Keep a Promise: Support Jayla’s Education

My daughter and I are in a tough financial spot. Over the last few years I’ve been going through a divorce and I’m struggling to make ends meet. We have been displaced from our old home and are trying to collect enough funds to help my daughter finish out her last year of elementary school with all of her friends since 1st grade. Currently we are commuting and I’ve had car issues which aren’t allowing me to get Jayla to her school easily. I’m reaching out as a single mother hoping to get funds to pay for our commute to and from school. We have 3 months left until Jayla completes 5th grade and I’m doing everything in my power to hold my promise to her, that she’ll finish her elementary school with her friends.

My hope in doing this is that I can raise enough money to buy a cheap car or continue to use other forms of transportation until Jayla can finish school.

Update: we are closer to our goal for enough to obtain a new vehicle to commute to school and work and we have changed our goal so me and Jayla can also pay other bills our family is behind on and secure our home during these hard times that would include food shelter and other expenses thanks so much for all your support please continue to share
