I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request on behalf of my brilliant and determined niece, Kyla Sky. She’s entering her senior year at Howard University, where she’s majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry an ambitious path for a young woman in STEM.

Kyla has worked tirelessly to get to this point. She’s made the Dean’s List, earned the respect of her professors, and poured her heart into every lab, lecture, and late night study session. But now, just one year from graduation, the rising cost of tuition and living expenses threatens to stop her journey short.

Kyla isn’t just chasing a degree she’s chasing her purpose. She dreams of breaking barriers in STEM, representing her community, and using her education to change lives. She’s so close to making that dream a reality, but she can’t do it without a little extra support.
