Hi everyone, we are asking for help with rent costs for two months. Due to the ICE raids here in Southern California my dad has not been able to work due to fear of deportation and separation from his family.
My dad has always worked hard to take care of us. The backbone and primary financial contributor in our family. But now, because of constant ICE raids in our area, we are too afraid for him to leave the house.
He’s lived in the U.S. since he was 8. This is his home. All he’s ever known. He’s never broken the law, but every day we live in fear of losing him. He’s an honest hardworking man who got his education, built a business of 15 years, got married, and raised a family here in the U.S. He works hard every day, even with diabetes complications, he has always puts us first.
Without his primary income, we’re struggling to pay rent and keep afloat. As we scramble and figure out what to do, we humbly ask for your help.
All funds will strictly go towards rent costs, for two months.
