Keep a Disabled Queer Housed

I recently had a severe, disabling episode where my doctors and therapist say that I am no longer able to work without sustaining a more serious injury or death. I'm unsure how long my hiatus from work will last; there's estimations that it might take me a year or more until I've healed.

Here's the breakdown of what I'll be using the money for:

1. $600-$1000 will afford me a powered wheelchair

2. $1000 will go to repay my partner for helping me out this month

3. $2000-$3000 will be used to keep a roof over my head and the lights on for the next few months

This $4500 will keep me safe for around 3-4 months. This would allow my partner to save money on the side to help cover my expenses when this initial $4500 runs out, and I would be dependent on him for the rest of the time. But, thankfully, he'd be able to take care of me once we survive this bump.
