Help a Devoted Young Mother & Educator Stay in Her Home
Dear Friends, Neighbors, and the Greater Allegan Community,
Today we ask you to open your hearts and lend your strength to one of our own—a devoted young mother, a woman of unwavering faith, and a quiet hero in our schools.
She is a paraprofessional in education and a basketball coach, giving her time, her energy, and her heart to the students of Allegan every day. She’s the kind of educator who shows up, the kind who listens when no one else does, and who cheers loudest for the kids who need it most. And after the school day ends, she goes home to raise her young child with the same fierce love and commitment.
But behind the scenes, this young mother has been carrying an unimaginable burden.
Over the past year she was struggling making a living while being a single mother. She had to get a new job because she couldn’t make ends meet and now she fell too far behind to catch back up in time to save her place of living. She’s been through churches and every place she can but no one has funding. She lives next to her mother who is battling stage 4 lung cancer and I really need to keep my home to be there for her and to help her with her needs and she has no room for my son and I.
She needs our help now!
This GoFundMe campaign is a lifeline to keep her and her child in their home. The funds raised will go directly to covering past-due rent and preventing eviction, giving her the time and space she desperately needs to ease her mind, to heal, and to continue being the steady, compassionate force our students know and love.
This is a woman who has given everything to her family, her students, and her faith community. Let’s come together, as Allegan always has, and give back.
No amount is too small. Even the smallest acts of generosity can make a lasting difference. And if you can’t give financially, please consider sharing this campaign and lifting her in prayer.
Let’s show her that she is not alone—that when one of us falls, the rest of us rise to catch them.
