Keely's Epic Battle with Cancer

Hi my name is Lori and with the help of Jay we have set up this gofundme in hopes to help Keely and her family.

Over the last couple months it has broken my heart to watch what this family has been going through. This epic battle. Their youngest daughter. In an epic battle with cancer.

Hey friends,

It's been a tough couple of weeks for my family with the news that my 10 year old niece, Keely was diagnosed with a Ewing Sarcoma. It is a cancerous tumor that they found after she broke her foot in a fall.

My sister, Kendra Lacarte , her husband Gregg Lacarte and Keely have been back and forth to Ottawa for various biopsies, scans, and consultations and now Keely is about to start a long run of chemo that will go on throughout the rest of this year. They will be spending a good portion of the year in Ottawa for the chemo and away from their home. We are all very positive all will work out well for Keely. Keely is a funny, strong, resilient little girl who is filled with positivity. I love her so much and it breaks my heart that she has to endure all of this and at such a young age. But knowing how much of a fighter Keely is, if anybody can roll with 8 months of chemo - it's her!

People have asked how they can contribute to the financial burdens that will happen with living away from home for so long. Lori asked if we should start a gofundme and I think it would be really great if we could help out my sister and Gregg so all of their attention can be with Keely.

Any donation big or small is so greatly appreciated. Anything to lighten the load is helpful. Trying to eliminate the financial stress so they can just focus on being by their little girls side.
