Hey everyone! My name is Tarynn Gifford and I am starting this fundraiser to help my sister and brother in law raise money to help them continue on their IVF Journey so they can finally become parents They began the process this year after years of fertility issues, making IVF their only option. After a very tough egg retrieval that lead to my sister developing life threatening Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome(which involved her being rushed to Chicago to have fluid removed from her abdomen) they were lucky to have 17 fertilized embabies! They were overjoyed and continued with their first transfer, which unfortunately did not take. But it wasn’t a concern because this entire time their insurance assured them that this entire process was covered and they had 8 more transfers they could do, with no cost to them. As they went ahead to start the process for transfer number two, their insurance informed them the information they were given was incorrect and they now had a very large balance that is due before they can ever proceed with the next transfer. They are heart broken and trying to pick up the pieces so they can continue towards their goal of becoming parents. As their sister, I want to do anything I can to ease this surprise financial burden. They have been through so much to get here, and I want nothing more than to see them get their Maricle.
