Keelin Goes to Opera Lucca

Hello! My name is Keelin Murrell and I am a sophomore studying Music Education at Western Kentucky University. I am raising money so that I can study Italian Opera in Italy! I was accepted into the Opera Lucca Program for this summer to perform and learn true Italian opera in its homeland. Opera Lucca is an organization located in Lucca, Italy that commemorates the centennial of Puccini’s death while teaching musicians Italian dialect, culture, and opera. It also provides the opportunity to perform in one of Puccini’s many famous opera acts. This opportunity will further my career development so that I may teach future generations with passion and accuracy. It is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I may not get another like it. I work hard to pay for my schooling on my own, but I need help to pay for an opportunity like this. The money that is donated here will go directly toward the cost of my tuition and travel expenses.
