Help Me Raise Money for Hospice Respite Care Through the “Ava Landmark Tour”
I’m fundraising for the incredible hospice respite care team who have supported my niece, Ava, since her terminal diagnosis.
Over the past few years, they have given our family support, comfort, and care during some of the hardest moments imaginable. They provide respite weekends, play therapy, family events, day care support, and safe spaces where Ava can simply be a child while being cared for with so much love and compassion.
Their support means more than words can explain. Not only do they care for Ava, but they also support our entire family by giving us moments to breathe, rest, and make special memories together.
To give something back, I’ll be taking on the “Ava Landmark Tour” — a long-distance walk between places that have been significant throughout Ava’s life and journey.
The walk will include:
Watford General Hospital – where Ava was born
Bushey – where she first lived
Kilburn – another place she called home
Great Ormond Street Hospital – who have cared for her
Keech Hospice – who continue to support Ava and our family and this is where we would give them the donations
Every mile walked is for Ava, for our family, and for every family relying on hospice support during incredibly difficult times.
Any donation — no matter how small — will help support the amazing work they do for children and families like ours. Even sharing this page would mean so much.
Thank you for supporting me, Ava, and this incredible cause
