KECSS College Trips

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Spencer, the college counselor at Kingsborough Early College Secondary School (KECSS). My time here is used to help support the goals of our students, in an effort to set them up for success in their future. By taking trips to colleges and trade schools our students have been able to gain the valuable exposure needed to help make their goals become a reality. KECSS is a Title One school, meaning, many of our students are living below the poverty line. Most of our students are unable to afford trips to colleges and trade schools outside of New York City. These experiences create greater opportunities, build connections, and help students see themselves in spaces they did not even know existed. It is KECSS's goal to raise money for our students to have the opportunity to visit schools outside of New York City. Your donations will help young adults have these opportunities.
