My name is Alex and I am fundraising for top surgery. This would be gender affirming care for me - I have been on hormones for coming up to 2 years as of me writing this post. I currently work close to full time, but I live on my own and there is limited space for me to save. I am trying though. I currently wear a binder, but I am large chested so it doesn’t do much but eventually hurt my back and ribs.

I know 10k seems like a lot, but this includes the month off work I will have to take, and because I have a high bmi, I will likely pay more anyway for the same care. I am probably also going to have to travel outside the UK for my surgery which means I need hotel and flights also.
