Please help

My name is Linda, I’m a single mom of two amazing boys and I HATE asking for help.

Our van (Stella) has been great to us for years but lately we’ve been experiencing a ticking noise plus an oil leak. Looks like this will mean the cam shaft needs to be replaced. I am out of work due to mental health struggles and we live within very small means. Our van is how I provide groceries, do school pickups and get my kids to appointments, etc.

The estimate is just over $3000. I can try and save slowly but we all know in this economy it’s next to impossible. Plus the longer I drive it, the worse it will get.

I know that everyone is struggling and believe me, asking for help is waaaay outside my comfort zone… but I’m trying to be more vulnerable and ask for assistance when it’s needed. Any amount helps chip away at this upcoming bill. Even a fb share is a huge help.
