Here We Go! Kearny School Supply Drive 2021
It's back to school time in Philly! We're ready to welcome students to back to Kearny and do everything necessary to keep them safe & healthy for another school year!
Gen. Philip Kearny Public School is a K-8 school located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. We have ~300 students, 99% of whom are free-lunch eligible, and the school receives Title I funds. Kearny is filled with active, vibrant learners whose test scores do not reflect what they might be capable of with proper funding!
Last year, the community came together to make sure that Kearny kids had what they needed, in spite of the pandemic. Thanks to your generosity, every Kearny student received a dry erase board to help with online learning, a jump rope & ball for their at-home phys ed workout, a sketchbook for art class, in addition to basics like pencils, folders, and notebooks.
This year, we're back in the building, but we still want to get off to the best start possible! We're trying to raise enough for the beloved PALLET OF PAPER as well as the folders, notebooks, and art supplies that students need for their classrooms (or to take home if it comes to that).
Every little bit helps us make this uncertain year the best possible year it can be! We appreciate your support!
