Keara Shepherd Accident Assistance

My name is Sharon, my good friend Keara Shepherd was seriously injured in a mountain bike accident on Monday, May 5. She was assisted by Penticton Search and Rescue and airlifted by helicopter to Kelowna hospital where she remains in the intensive care unit. She has some internal injuries and prognosis uncertain at this point. It looks like she will be off work for at least the next few weeks, maybe longer if surgery is required. We are hoping to help her with her inability to work and maintain her income right now. Keara is one of the kindest, most generous and committed people I know. She shows up for her community consistently as a volunteer firefighter and committee member of the Nakusp and Area Bike Society. Keara is always helping and supporting others, now it’s our turn to show up for her. Any amount would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
