Keannas hope

Hello my name is Vanessa Weichberger I am the mother of Francis who just lost his very first puppy to toxic algae. He fell head over heals with her instantly. It was a dream come true for him. He had been asking for a dog for a number of years. When my son and I went on an adventure at Zion National Park with his first dog that he just got for his birthday in June we encountered deadly algae. The toxic algae killed her in about 20 min. We watched in shock and horror as she left us way to soon and so dramatically. My son was bereft and is still grieving. We definitely do not want anyone else to endure the suffering of such a unnecessary loss let alone the suffering that our sweet Keanna experienced. We are seeking help to get Francis a new puppy and to cover the costs of Keanna’s final expenses as well as our campaign to raise awareness. Francis and I plan on spreading the word far and wide. We are interested in finding organizations who aim at testing more water sources to make people informed about how  safe those bodies of water are before tragedy happens. We aim at donating what we can to their goals.
