Keagan’s Story

Donation protected
Keagan Meek is our amazing 11 year old son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. On February 14th, he was involved in a sledding accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury. He is now on a long road to recovery.

He resides in New Concord, Ohio with his parents and three sisters. He is the best son and big brother.

Keagan is a 5th grader at Larry Miller Intermediate School in New Concord. He has always been very active in football, basketball, and baseball. He loves fishing, hunting, showing pigs for 4-H, and anything and everything outdoors.

In addition to the physical and emotional toll this injury will take on Keagan and his family, the financial burden will also be steep.  Medical expenses include an ER visit, at Southeastern Med, LifeFlight to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, hospitalizations in the PICU and neurology unit, an extensive stay in inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, wheelchair, durable medical equipment, adaptive equipment, and home modifications, among other expenses.

Any financial assistance and prayers you may provide are greatly appreciated.
