Support Morgan Johnson's Road to Recovery

It is with a very heavy heart that I’m coming to gofundme for help and my story is a little bit complicated. For those of you reading this, thank you so much. My name is Morgan Johnson, and I am a 2020 Linden High School graduate with a passion for all things girly like makeup, hair, and I am also an employee in the medicinal cannabis industry. Over the past couple of months, my life and my family’s life has been a living hell. My boyfriend of a year and a half adopted a kitten with me right around Halloween, and 4 days into having him, he ended up having multiple seizures and passing in my arms on the way to the emergency vet an hour away from our home. Thousands of dollars later, I have my baby cremated and home with me again, with the only reminders of him being his ashes and paw and nose prints. It is important to add the reason he passed was because the place he was held at before we adopted him failed to disclose that he was on antibiotics for an unknown illness, and he likely passed due to that. I couldn’t afford the autopsy so I won’t know, but my suspicion is strong, as he was only 6 months and otherwise seemingly healthy.
Two weeks before Christmas, I was traveling home from work and hit a deer that came running from a wooded area and totaled my Subaru. Luckily, my insurance paid for a new used car with the check they gave me, and I was able to upgrade to a 2013 Ford Edge. The car was used and came with some issues, which included having to get a new alternator, and I am currently still in debt to my boyfriend’s father for paying for that (over $1,000, bless his heart.) Unfortunately my credit is also not in a place to let me lease a vehicle at an affordable monthly price on my retail budget, so that’s not an option either.
Fast forward to yesterday, on my way to work, I hit a patch of black ice on the expressway at 70 miles per hour, causing my fixed car to lose control and spin across a three lane highway pinning me against the guard rail and leaving me with a fractured spine and an injured neck.
I am also medically disabled with a condition called hydrocephalus. At the age of 6 I had an emergency brain surgery, which unfortunately has presented challenges of its own, causing me to be unable to work as much as I need to be able to get back on my feet and support myself. Long story short, I am coming to gofundme as a form of hope to be able to pay for my upcoming ambulance and hospital bills as neither my mom nor I can afford them, and I am also unfortunately desperately in need of a new vehicle, even if it’s in the future far from now. Even if anyone is just able to spread the word or donate a couple dollars, I would be forever grateful. I am honestly so beyond tired, and drained, and I’m feeling a loss of hope. Words of encouragement are always highly appreciated as well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. You are loved and appreciated!
