SUPPORT NEEDED TO BATTLE WITH CANCER

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Mandeep Kaur. I am writing to share my story and to seek your support during an incredibly challenging time in my life. I came to Australia in 2019 on student visa. I am currently on 485 visa.

Recently, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer, a rare and aggressive form of the disease that has profoundly affected my health and well-being.

The journey has been overwhelming. I am currently receiving Immunotherapy which is only treatment option for me as the disease has progressed to my left lung and chemo doesn't work on this cancer. My insurance (Bhupa)is not covering the injection cost at all which is 17,600$ per injection. We have managed 2 rounds of immunotherapy somehow but the financial burden has become increasingly difficult to manage Between medical bills, treatment costs, and daily living expenses, I find myself struggling to keep up physically and mentally as well.

I believe in the power of community and support, which is why I am reaching out to you. If you are in a position to help, any contribution—no matter how small—would go a long way in easing the financial strain and allowing me to focus on my health and recovery.
