Please join me as we help this incredible couple with the means to conceive their first baby.
If any of you know Tori and Beau Neece you would know they are a selfless and loving young couple who spend their free time serving the youth in our community through running youth groups and Sunday school teaching. Beau is the youth pastor at Crossroads church and Tori will be graduating with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education next year. You may also know of their incredible story of adopting Tori’s four younger brothers after the unexpected loss of their mother.
What you may not know is their heartbreaking journey of being able to have a child of their own. Tori and Beau have been on an emotional rollercoaster of trying to conceive a child for 4 years. For 4 years Tori and Beau went through multiple tests, procedures and even surgery all pointing to Tori having unexplained infertility, and finally this week they were able to have answers. Tori found out after suffering an ectopic pregnancy and having a laparoscopic surgery, that she has damaged tubes, so she is unable to conceive naturally due to the fact that any pregnancy she would have would be a very high chance of becoming an ectopic pregnancy, which is very dangerous.
Tori and Beau were told the hard news that they would only ever be able to conceive through IVF and not naturally. For many this news may not be so hard, but for Tori and Beau their insurance does not cover a penny of fertility treatments including IVF, leaving the entire cost on them. IVF is a very expensive procedure and without the help of insurance covering it, many cannot afford this treatment.
