This is the gofundme page for the Hackworth Kid's Kenyan Missions Trip (Kendon, Cali, Kolter, & Koy). We 4 kid's are so excited for the opportunity to go and serve the amazing people of Kenya in May of 2015. This is a 10 day trip giving us a chance to serve in several capacities. We will be; 1) Ministering with K-Crew in Nairobi high schools; 2) Visiting a One Child Matters orphanage which specializes in caring for babies with HIV; 3) Serving in the slums of Kibera; 4) Leading Bible Schools for children in Makindu; 5) Caring for abandoned women with Seed of Hope, and; 6) Spending time in Amboseli with the big 5 animals of Africa. This will be a trip of a lifetime; for Kolter and Koy, it will be their first missions trip.
We are so excited to experience the incredible Kenyan culture, and to share the love of Christ with everyone we encounter. Romans 15:2 says, "Strength is for service, not status." and we believe that God has made us strong to serve on this trip!
