Some of you know we have friends in Panama who are doing extremely important work of helping injured and sick sloths. Our friends at Casa Mariposa take in these injured and sick wild sloths and help rehabilitate them, returning them to the wild. There are some who cannot return and so they become their permanent care takers. All of this is expensive.

Our friends at Casa Mariposa initially ran a guest house that helped fund their heart work. Since the pandemic, they have closed their guest house and are running their rescue work 100% on donations.

Amara and Havana spent time there in 2022, helping them with the sloths, including raising funds.

I will be returning to Panama in June to do some teaching at a retreat for therapists. There is no way I could not make the time to visit our beloved human and sloth friends, to help out and serve. I will spent 2 days there with them before my retreat.

I am asking my community to please contribute to this most important cause. I have a deep love for sloths and I know how endangered they are in Panama. They are the sweetest, most unusual, adorable creatures. They need our support.
